It all started, more than 43 years ago in a street in Abcoude where Mr. B. E. B. de Haan founded a form shaping company. The shed soon became too small an he moved to a building in the centre of the village Abcoude. It was here where he expanded his company and placed hist first plastic moulding machine. Now beside the form shaping company
a plastic moulding foundry was arisen.

Even this new building became too small and Mr. de Haan got the opportunity to move to the industrial area Bovenkamp in Abcoude and so he did. Up till now we are still located here and we do so with great pleasure.

In 1983 Sylvia de Haan came into the business. She developed quickly and showed that a woman too can stay up in technique. She started doing administrative work and soon began to do things beside that, purchase, sale, making tenders, automation and many other things which made her knowledge and presence of a great importance at
De Haan Products BV.

On the January 1st 1995 Sylvia together with her husband Bert took over the company
owned by her father. On 01-01-2000 we had finished our first period and where busy with a lot of new things. On 01-01-2001 we got the building in our own possession. In the end of 2001 we succeeded to certify ISO 9001:2000 and by January 2002 the whole building was taken in own use. Because of this we moved storage inside which helps to improve production.

Since 2003 Bert decided to follow his own dreams and quitted his job in the company. From that time on Sylvia took over full authority. Both her right hands Duco Buijs and Richard Verburg, both machine editors with a lot of experience and knowledge, assist her.
